For nearly 100 years, Trinity Deaf has been ministering to the unique needs of persons with hearing deficits. One of the first congregations in America to serve the deaf and hard-of hearing, Trinity Deaf is one of only 10 Lutheran congregations in America providing this specialized ministry.
WORSHIP, BIBLE STUDY & FELLOWSHIP
Trinity Deaf's worship service and Bible Study programs welcome all hearing
and non-hearing persons, as these are both spoken and translated into
American Sign Language.
Worship is held each Sunday morning at 11:00 a.m. in the Founders' Chapel on the ground-floor level of the main church building. The order of service takes its roots from the traditional Lutheran liturgy, and the Holy Eucharist is celebrated every Sunday. The most convenient entrance is via Washington Street. An informal social opportunity follows worship in the adjacent Hintz Social Room.
Trinity Deaf Bible Study is held each Wednesday, from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon. You are invited to join us for these fun and interactive sessions.
In addition, fellowship opportunities abound! These include lunches and dinners, holiday celebrations, and trips to various local and regional attractions.
