YOUTH OF TRINITY

All youth grades 7-12 are a part of Youth of Trinity. We meet somewhat regularly, serve a lot, grow in faith and have a good time in the process. Trinity Youth have a heart for service as we participate in the Souper Bowl and 30 Hour Famine (raising funds to eradicate World Hunger). We participate in Mission District Events including a weekend retreat and Bowl-a-thon. In July 2006, several youth traveled to La Marque, Texas to help lead a "Camp Noah" experience for children who were displaced from Hurricanes Katrina and Rita.

In 2007 we have taken some new projects…

The Time is Now - Guatemala 2007! A week-long mission trip to help support the work of Hogar Miguel, an orphanage for boys age 6-15. This is an intergenerational trip for people ages 7-77. Our youth will help with a Vacation Bible School, humanitarian aid, and constructing a chapel.

The Youth Room Rennovation in the Bard House Basement. Walls have been knocked out, and we have had some great painting parties. It is a continuing work in progress with great space potential for fellowship (round-house ping pong) and youth forum and bible studies.
